You don’t know if you’re saying too much or too little. Sometimes, words don’t come out. Other times, they come out messy, clumsy, just wrong. Even buying something at a store feels like a challenge. Working is a whole other level. It’s like playing a role you don’t understand, just to fit into a world that has no patience for those who function differently.
But in the end, we all fit somewhere. There’s room in this world for those who move through life effortlessly, for the cruel, for the indifferent, and for those of us who always feel out of place. The difference is, we know it. They don’t.
