Don’t let anyone minimize your illness. No one knows what it’s like to live with bipolar disorder, and the last thing you need is for others to make you feel like it’s not important or not real. Don’t let them drag you down or make you feel worse than the illness already does.
It’s crucial to surround yourself with a supportive and understanding work environment. Find friends who get what you’re going through, who respect your limits, and who don’t judge you. Distance yourself from anything or anyone that becomes a burden, people or situations that can’t understand what you’re living through. The key is to create a space where you feel supported, not overwhelmed.
